Michael Locati, violinist, returns to St. Paul’s, in concert. You may know Michael as a member of the Lukens Trio who have performed at St. Paul’s numerous times.

Michael Locati received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in violin performance at Rutgers University as a student of Arnold Steinhardt of the Guarneri String Quartet. Michael has been active as a chamber musician in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He has performed as a violinist with the Lukens Piano Trio, the Tristan String Quartet (Canada) and the Petra String Quartet (New Jersey). He has been an artist in residence at Seton Hall University, the Shaw Festival in Canada, and the Pundaquit Chamber Music Festival in the Philippines and was a two time Fellow at the Bach Aria Group Festival in Stony Brook, NY. Michael was the winner of the 1992 St. Louis Artist Presentation Society Award and the Ellen M. Egger Award in viola performance. In addition to his musical life Michael is co-owner of Locati Auctions, a nationally known auction company that specializes in antiques.
