Michael Fabiano
Tenor

Originally from New Jersey, Mr. Fabiano received his bachelor of music degree in opera performance from the University of Michigan where he studied with tenor George Shirley. While at the University of Michigan, Michael performed a number of operatic roles including Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, and Valere in Mechem’s Tartuffe.

In 2002, he was the Michigan NATS grand prize winner. He has been a finalist in the Mario Lanza Competition, and placed sixth at the West Palm Beach Competition. In April of 2005, Mr. Fabiano won the Grand Prize in the Junior Division of the Florida Grand Opera Competition, held in Miami. This summer he portrayed Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore at the New Jersey Opera Festival.
